  • Waffle Wednesday


    This is a thank you to Cindy Kelly for the use of her waffle iron.  I try to keep my kitchen appliances to a minimum and avoided an electric iron for eighteen years of married life.  I make pancakes often and need a change.

    I patrol the local thrift stores for a used iron but found none yet.  When Cindy found out she offered this one that has been stored in her garage.  I was all too happy to assist her in freeing up some garage space.  It was about a year ago she moved and I remember storing all the boxes, furniture, and equipment in the garage with the understanding it was eventually going to move and make room to store her Jeep.

    OK, Cindy, the waffle iron is out, did you park your Jeep in the garage last night?  With temperatures near zero, I'll bet it was nice not scraping widows in the morning.
