Easter Weekend 2013
This year's Lent seemed so much busier than previous years! I have to admit we did not go to the Good Friday service as we were too tired. We did dye Easter eggs on Friday. I think Steve had his wide angle lens on the camera which is why the kids look a little weird.

On Saturday, we went to the Loyal Heights egg hunt. We started in the gym, and Étienne lined up with the five and six year olds.

Carl was on the other side of the gym with the nine and ten year olds. They all went outside and lined up ready to start... Étienne is in the center of the 5 & 6 year olds, Carl is at the far end of the second photo.

And they're off!

Étienne is moving out!

There was a Basset, and a beautiful flowering tree (with Veronica underneath) at the community center as well...

Saturday night we attended the Easter Vigil at Ballard First Lutheran. Sunday morning, the kids woke up to find their Easter baskets.

Veronica showed up early to work the Easter Breakfast. Also, the poster for her Wonka show was hanging in the hallway!

Étienne enjoys a pancake.

The church was very full and festive...

And the children's choir sang to start.

Carlton, Étienne, and Veronica in their Easter clothes...

We had a lamb dinner for fifteen Easter Sunday and it was delicious! Bring on spring!
